Name Binding Rod

AbilityThe binding rod is a very strange weapon. It's like a fishing hook, kinda. To use it, Rogue flicks the rod forward, causing the hooks to shoot out (maximum range: 15 ft.). If they land on the opponent, they will most likely then hook on to them, if they come into contact with just cloth or bare skin. So then Rogue flicks the weapon back to tear the hooks out of the enemy. Usually she drags the enemy back to her, its sort of like a tong that holds the enemy in place, she could absorb their powers easily that way. When she flicks the weapon back, the hooks have a mechanism in the rod so that they come zipping back into the slots on the rod. When Rogue is not using the rod, the upper portion of the rod can be folded in, and also the rod can be folded as well, so it's smaller and easier to carry. Their is an auto-locking mechanism when she puts it together though, so she doesn't have to worry about it flying off when she's using it.

Weakness When the hooks miss their target, the line would continue to fling forward until it reaches its limit of 15 feet. It would cause her to become vulnerable at a time like that for it also takes time for the line to zip back onto the rod.

Extras She could also use the rod as a normal rod, whacking anything or anyone with it. It has antler-like hooks so it could grip much easily.

haha.. I have to say, pretty clever weapon to match your powers and to cope with your ability's weakness of short range..
