Random Poems

Post by Kurt Rawson on Sun Feb 24, 2013 2:29 pm

So, basically I was really angry at this guy called Allen Curnow coz he wrote this poem called Contimuum which I had to analyse, and it was way too tough. So, in retaliation I created a few poems of my own, aand Ray helped me with a few. So, just though I'd post them.

First one- Middle of the Night.
One fine day, in the middle of the night,
Two dead boys woke up with a fright.
Back to back, they faced each other,
Took out their swords and shot each other.
The deaf policeman heard the noise
And shot the two dead boys.
Believe this lie, for it is true,
Ask the blind beggar, he saw it too.
By Sir E. Brum (Cerebrum)

Second one- My Head.
I see a huge, fluttering tree
Standing beside a lurgid bee.
Behind the tree is a two inch spider
Riding on whom is the Ghost Rider
In flames. The dustbin then eats up the King
While the fat lady sings.
Truth be told
None of them are alive or dead.
But they all play cricket in my head.
By C. Niall. DeMencha. (Senile dementia)

Feedback's welcome.
